RSM Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Ribbon Cutting Event

Members of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, RSM staff & teachers, and other community members turned out on Thursday, Sept. 1st for a ribbon cutting event celebrating Rockwall School of Music’s 20 years of service in the Rockwall area. Guests of the 20th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Ceremony enjoyed beautifully crafted cookies provided by EmiLou’s Cakes while reminiscing over good times shared through the years at RSM.

A very special THANK YOU to everyone who attended the event and to all of our wonderful community of supporters for giving us the opportunity to serve generations of music students with the highest caliber of music education! We are so glad to be part of this amazing community and look forward to 20 more wonderful years in Rockwall! untitled-design-2

We absolutely LOVE school of music. My daughter asked to take piano lesson at the age of 5 and this was definitely our perfect match. The teachers and so kind, patient and knowledgeable. They make the music learning process such a fun experience! Also I can’t say enough amazing things about the ladies in the front office. We are greeted every single time with a smile and a friendly wave! They are so lovely and work magic with helping to reschedule lessons. They are a delight to deal with and see!

My daughter has been with Ms. Nene for about 2 months now. She is so patient.... makes learning piano very fun for a 5 year old. I recommend Ms. Nene to any 5+ year old mom! She has been so wonderful. The school itself is great- very clean, high security, and the ladies in the front always know what's going on. I think this is probably one of the best places for kids to learn any instrument. I hear the instructions for the other instruments, while im waiting outside- and I'm always so impressed by the teachers.

The Rockwall School of Music is awesome! I have 3 kids in it with each learning a different instrument. We have worked with numerous teachers including our permanent teacher and other make-up teachers. We have been very pleased with their knowledge of music theory and the instruments themselves. The owners, Russ and Karen, and all of the office team runs the school with professionalism and is well organized. They are great communicators and always seek for improvements. My kids are learning to much!

My daughter enrolled in a summer morning camp and had a complete blast trying out different instruments and generally familiarizing herself with musical forms. She especially loved the kindness and energy of the teachers, who clearly enjoy music and children.
