Drum Lesson FAQ
Do I need a full drum kit at home to start?
No. Many students begin with a practice pad and sticks. That’s enough to build timing and control. A full kit can come later when you’re ready.
Are drum lessons too loud for kids?
Not here. We keep lessons controlled and focused. Younger students learn technique and rhythm without being overwhelmed by volume.
Is drumming just about hitting hard?
Not at all. Good drummers play with control, not force. We teach timing, coordination, and dynamics first. Speed and power come after.
How often should I practice?
Short, regular sessions work better than long, rushed ones. Even ten to fifteen minutes a day makes a difference when done consistently.
