Homeschool Music Lessons

We are excited to be expanding our Homeschool Music Program. If you have older children who are interested in private lessons, you are always welcome to drop by for a tour of our 17-studio facility or to schedule a consultation appointment with one of our music professionals.

Our early day lesson rates are available for homeschool families who can schedule a private music lesson before 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. We provide early-day lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, drums, violin, viola, cello and bass. These lessons can be scheduled for 30, 45 or 60 minutes weekly.

We have 50+ music teachers, all with either college training and/or professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. With at least three music teachers for most every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lesson.

Every year, aspiring music teachers start their own studio, and a year or two later it’s maxed out with students of all ages and all skill levels! RSM has a proven track record of offering quality piano, guitar, voice, strings and drum lessons in Rockwall, Texas year round. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by over 5,000 families for the past 24 years.

Free music recitals

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital.

Three times a year hundreds of our students choose to perform in our showcase recitals.

For our students these recitals are free and unlike many studios in Rockwall we do not charge recital participation or admission fees.

Trophies, certificates and award wristbands

We are the only music school in the greater Rockwall area that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces (see pictures to the right) by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends. The Musical Ladder is our unique method of music education that you can only get here.

More importantly when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins. You can only get the Musical Ladder here. We also specialize in music lessons for adults.

My daughter has been with Ms. Nene for about 2 months now. She is so patient.... makes learning piano very fun for a 5 year old. I recommend Ms. Nene to any 5+ year old mom! She has been so wonderful. The school itself is great- very clean, high security, and the ladies in the front always know what's going on. I think this is probably one of the best places for kids to learn any instrument. The Rockwall School of Music is awesome! I have 3 kids in it with each learning a different instrument.
