Worship Music Camp

August 6-10

Our music camps are all about coming for one week to have some musical fun!!

Students will learn how to play together as a cohesive group with fellow musicians. In addition to learning to play this unique genre of music; students will also write and perform an original song! To ensure a successful experience in this particular camp we ask that campers have at least 1 year of music lessons experience. We will teach the skills needed and select music according to the attending camper’s skill levels.

*Please plan on bringing a snack and lunch daily to maximize the time for rehearsals and songwriting.

Instruments: If you play guitar, electric bass, drums, keyboard, or love to sing then this is the camp for you!!

Time: 9am-noon

Showcase Performance: On the final day of the camp, friends and family are invited to a showcase performance at 6:30pm to hear the group perform several songs along with their original piece!!

We absolutely LOVE school of music. My daughter asked to take piano lesson at the age of 5 and this was definitely our perfect match. The teachers and so kind, patient and knowledgeable. They make the music learning process such a fun experience! Also I can’t say enough amazing things about the ladies in the front office. My daughter has been with Ms. Nene for about 2 months now. She is so patient.... makes learning piano very fun for a 5 year old. I recommend Ms. Nene to any 5+ year old mom! She has been so wonderful. The school itself is great- very clean, high security, and the ladies in the front always know what's going on. I think this is probably one of the best places for kids to learn any instrument. I hear the instructions for the other instruments, while im waiting outside- and I'm always so impressed by the teachers.

The Rockwall School of Music is awesome! I have 3 kids in it with each learning a different instrument. We have worked with numerous teachers including our permanent teacher and other make-up teachers. We have been very pleased with their knowledge of music theory and the instruments themselves. The owners, Russ and Karen, and all of the office team runs the school with professionalism and is well organized. They are great communicators and always seek for improvements.
